Data protection

The Florian Lex Foundation takes the protection of your personal data seriously. Our goal is to protect your right to informational self-determination and to guarantee the protection of your privacy. The following declaration gives you an overview of when we store which data, for what purpose we use it and how we ensure the protection of your personal data. 1. Collection and use of data Each time a user accesses a page from the Florian Lex Foundation's offering, data about this process is saved in a log file. This includes in detail: name of the retrieved file, date and time of retrieval, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, description of browser type, operating system used, IP address (is anonymized after the connection is terminated). This data is only used for evaluations for statistical purposes and is not linked to the personal data provided by the user. 2. The Florian Lex Foundation is responsible for handling your data, which we process according to your wishes and in accordance with the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). The measures taken are intended to guarantee the confidentiality and integrity of your data and to ensure the long-term availability and resilience of our systems and services when processing your data. They are also intended to quickly restore the availability of data and access to it in the event of a physical or technical incident. Our data processing and security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments. We are committed to confidentiality and to compliance with the data protection requirements of the GDPR. 4. Data Protection Officer Due to our number of employees, we are not obliged to appoint a data protection officer. 5. What is your data processed for? a. Inquiries We process your information to process your inquiries. The provision of address and telecommunications data marked as mandatory is necessary in order to process and answer your request.
