Background + Idea

The founder suffered severe burns in an accident in January 2017. This was bad luck.

He survived. Subsequently, he received the best possible medical treatment. The material damage was manageable, and his mental health was stable. His friends and family gave him tremendous support. He's doing well today. This is great luck.

Now he aims to support burn victims less lucky with the help of the Florian Lex Foundation: he is trying to enable access to treatment and follow-up to those burn victims in the world who do not have this access automatically due to financial, medical, social or other restrictions. And, wherever possible, contribute to preventing fire accidents and burns from occurring in the first place.
